Farm Life: Veggie Love

There's something so heartwarming about preparing veg boxes. Knowing that they will feed and nourish families and their children, flatmates and single people. Perhaps they will put smile on their faces when they see the little details in the box like a pretty edible flower or two like calendula, borage or nustartion and a little note attached to. Maybe they will notice how carefully the boxes set up so that they also look good aesthetically. The human touch is the icing on the cake that's so far from plastic packaging and branded content.

Knowing that those people choose to buy local, no plastic and organic produce which shows they care! They care about the environment, their health and small businesses. Knowing that those potatoes and leeks will make a lovely pie to be shared with family and friends over a nice conversation.

Knowing that after a long working day someone will find it therapeutic to chop those vegetables to make a delicious soup. Maybe that funny shaped carrot will make a child laugh.

Knowing that all those friends we've been caring for by weeding, watering, harvesting will find a good home.
